The Center for Research and Studies organized a seminar that dealt with the following topic: Financing Sources For NGO’s.
Aim: The aim of this two-day seminar/workshop was to make members of the three selected women associations in the municipality of Mrkonjic Grad familiar with the potential financing sources and ways of funding for the associations’ activities. Through interactive work during the workshop, and by projecting the budget of the associations, starters were shown donor and non-donor ways and modalities of funding for the activities undertaken by the associations.
Participants were acquainted with notions of financing, basic types of costs and their categorization, types of non-donor sources of finance and ways of accessing them. They were also acquainted with the basic notions of budgeting, along with a practical example of budget drafting.
