First “START UP” Training Takes Place

Under the slogan “Use the opportunity, make the first step and create a business plan”, the first in the series of “START UP” trainings took place at the Innovation Center Banja Luka, intended for unemployed persons who have a business idea and want to turn it into concrete business.

This practical training in the form of a five-day workshop was organized by a Norwegian organization Business Innovation Programs (BIP) in association with Center for Research and Studies GEA, with an aim to help the participants develop their business idea into the form of a business plan, thus testing their readiness for starting private business.

After successfully passing this training program held through March 13th to 22nd 2013, sixteen young people from Banja Luka area gained the possibility to apply for funds from a BIP fund, in order to partially cover their business registration costs.

The next training cycle has been planned for the second half of April.
