Within the project “European Cooperation Bridges for Occupational Health and Safety”, supported by the EU, a conference is held in Banja Luka on 25th of October 2011, with the following topic: “Health and safety at work in the Republic of Srpska – current situation and challenges on the road to the EU”.
This conference is being organized by the Center for Research and Studies GEA from Banja Luka in cooperation Ministry of Labor and Veteran-Invalid Protection of RS. Its goal is to gather key actors from the field of health and safety at work and to initiate dialogue on the most important issues in this area. According to the agenda, several experts from the European Union and Republic of Srpska had speeches on the following themes: development of means and best EU practice for practical implementation of EU acquis in the area of health and safety at work, implementation of the law on health and safety at work in RS, assessment of health and safety risks at workplace, etc.
